Sooro Renner receives FSSC 22000 recertification
Understand what FSSC 22000 is and why it is so important
FSSC 22000 is an internationally recognized food safety certification scheme.
It is based on the Food Safety Management System standard (ISO 22000), combined with the Pre-Requirement Programs (PPRs) of ISO-TS 22002-1 and additional requirements presented by FSSC.
The FSSC 22000 exists since 2010 and is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), confirming the acceptance by the global food industry.
Sooro Renner’s commitment conquering results
The certification demonstrates the company’s commitment to the quality and safety of its processes and products, besides enabling it to serve several clients in Brazil and around the world.
Two certified plants
The certification applies to both plants:
- Industrial plant of Marechal Cândido Rondon – PR, is certified since 2021;
- Industrial plant of Estação – RS, is certified in the standard since 2017.

The certification demonstrates Sooro Renner’s commitment to meeting legal, customer, and supplier requirements, focusing on the quality and safety of our products and processes.
In both production plants, the audit was conducted by evaluating documents and the production process. The commitment to do the right thing and the focus on results of all employees was fundamental for the achievement of recertification, demonstrating in practice our Quality and Food Safety Culture.
