2001

Sooro Foundation

We started our journey in 2001, in Paraná, in the first years we started a race, always delivering more and more and we haven't stopped since. Our strength comes from movement.

2010

Building of the first drying tower

In 2010, Sooro became a pioneer in the production of Whey Protein Concentrated 34%. Also in that year, the production of whey powder started.

Relat starts operations

In 2010, in the city of Estação, in Rio Grande do Sul, Relat starts its operations in the drying of whey.

2014

Record production achieved

Relat's annual production exceeds 18,000 tons.

Certifications achieved

This year, Sooro achieves two international certifications: Halal and Kosher.


The total production for that year was 21,000 tons.

2015

Certification, expansion and more

Sooro achieves BRC FOOD certification.


The extensions continue:
The second drying tower for the production of Whey Protein Concentrate is built and the chip boiler also takes place this year.

2016

Portfolio increase

Sooro credits Whey Protein Concentrated 80% in the portfolio, thus expanding its market nationwide.

2017

Production increase

Relat's production exceeds 22,000 tons in total.

2018

Certification obtained

Relat obtains its first international certification: FSSC 22000

Record production achieved at Sooro

In 2018, Sooro's production exceeds 34,000 tons in the annual amount.


Also built: bulk soda and acid deposit and specific location for service providers.

2019

Fusion of Sooro and Relat

Sooro Renner founded in 2019, is the result of an association between Família Silva and Tenfen, with extensive tradition and expertise in the dairy sector and Renner Herrmann S.A., a corporation with over 90 years of activities in various sectors and operations in Brazil and abroad.

Thinking about sustainability, we started using permeate to generate biogas and flaring the biogas in the wood-fired boiler.


Installation of the third drying tower for the production of permeate and Non Caking.


Sooro Renner becomes a pioneer in Brazil in the production of Whey Protein Isolated.

2020

First export outside Mercosur

In June, Sooro Renner makes its first export outside Mercosul. The export took place to Asia.


The total processing of the two plants is 3.5 million liters per day.


In August, Sooro Renner makes its first export of Whey Protein 34% to Chile.

Also in August, Sooro Renner starts operations at the São Paulo Distribution Center.

2021

20 years of Sooro Renner

February 1st is a celebration day: Sooro Renner, a company present in Marechal Cândido Rondon (PR), Estação (RS) and Campinas (SP), completes two decades of activities, employing more than 450 employees and about to process the equivalent of 4 million liters of fluid whey per day.


FSSC 22000 CERTIFICATION

March 1: Sooro Renner's industrial plant in Marechal Cândido Rondon (PR) achieved the FSSC 22000 certification, thereby solidifying its presence as a strong brand and of global proportions.


1st DAIRY PRODUCTS EXPORTATION BY THE INDUSTRIAL PLANT OF ESTAÇÃO (RS)

On May 24 and 25, 2021, an industrial plant in Estação (RS) made its first shipment of dairy products abroad, with 02 containers totaling 54,000 kilograms of partially demineralized whey powder shipped to the Philippines.


New Non Caking Permeate Production Plant

On September 22, 2021, Sooro Renner inaugurates the new Non Caking Permeate Production Plant - the largest in production capacity in Latin America, in the city of Marechal Cândido Rondon - Paraná. With more than 8,000 square meters, it has increased the production and storage capacity by more than 100 tons per day.
