Body care x wellness: it doesn’t have to be a fight

Have you ever noticed how many people create a fight between body care and “doing what you like”? As if the two were mutually exclusive. It is quite common to hear phrases like:

  • “Today’s sacrifice is paid for, tomorrow there’s more”
  • My diet is impossible to maintain, but I know that in the long run it will do me good”.

You should not suffer to achieve your results.

Respected nutritionists talk about dietary re-education. We will explain what it is in the next topic.

What is the secret: Is Taking Whey on an empty stomach ideal? Let’s Explain

What is dietary re-education?

The dietary re-education is undoubtedly the best recipe for losing weight with health, and consists of eating healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, legumes, lean meats, and reducing the consumption of processed foods, soft drinks, fried foods, and foods rich in sugar.

But it is based on becoming a habit. So, you have to educate yourself in search of better results. And don’t cut it all at once! From one day to the next.

This strategy of “cutting” is called Cold Turkey. And “going cold turkey” is already pointed out by many psychologists as one of the worst strategies to change a habit.

Patience is the key word for healthy eating

When the subject is weight loss, desperation for quick results is normal. But it takes patience to change habits, because they are built through repetition.

So if you have grown accustomed to drinking soda every day at lunchtime, you will find it drastic and overnight have to replace it with water.

This is just one example – even soda can be part of daily life if the person has a good relationship with food and knows how to drink in moderation. The interesting thing is to reduce its consumption.

Remember that to know what dietary re-education is, you don’t need to make a list of what you can and cannot eat.

It is just the opposite.

It is learning to eat everything in a more moderate way, in peace, with consciousness, and with pleasure! Including more and more natural foods in the routine and reducing the ultra-processed ones.

And this has less to do with “focus, strength, and faith” than with repeating good practices so that they become habits!

There you go, now you know how maintaining a healthy diet also depends on nurturing good habits.
